A UOYA limited model that uses the classic spinning GS66 as a bait
The Glissando 66S is a popular Japanese glass rod.
In response to requests for a bait rod based on this spinning rod, we have added it to our lineup as a limited model.
The length of the 66 has been shortened to focus on urban-style catfish.
This makes it possible to fully utilize the characteristics of the blank as a strong catfish bait that can handle the casting of lures that are getting larger every year.
Enjoy the things that don't go well
Catfish are an easy target to target in rivers and lakes all over Japan. Although it is easy to use, it is highly game-like, and many dedicated rods and lures are sold.
It is difficult to hook catfish that attack lures as if they are playing around, and increasing the hooking rate is also an aspect that enhances the game.
However, this rod does not try to compensate for the parts that are not caught even when touched, but is based on the premise that the angler can compensate by manual operation, and is a rod that pursues the concept of enjoying dialogue with catfish such as unsuccessful hooking and fighting.
A rod for concentrating only on fun
The image is a brushed-up version of the 5.5 foot semi-double type, which can be said to be the standard for glass baits.
Equipped with titanium guides on a domestic glass blank, the weight balance is at the reel fulcrum.
Although it has a short handle, it is set up so that you can enjoy operating it and casting it single-handed.
From the light line setting that has evolved in recent years, it has a power range that can cover most general catfish plugs. It is a regular slow short bait like a strong top water rod.
The casting feeling is especially excellent for plugs up to 30g, and it bends firmly with just a light shake, allowing you to cast to a pinpoint with a low trajectory. The target fish is not limited to catfish, and you can freely use it.
The short length allows you to reach the tip of the rod, so it is also useful for kayaks and floaters.
Compatible with a wide range of reels
It is a strong rod for UL fishing using light bait finesse lines, and is useful for cranking and top water fishing with heavy tackle such as 16 or 20 pound settings.
It is a strong and flexible rod, so you can enjoy it in a wide range of situations depending on the reel and line you attach.
The design suits a variety of reels, from classic to cutting-edge. Choose according to the angler's preferences.
