Development Concept

In yellowfin tuna games, there are many hits not only by surface popping but also by blind casting and enticing.

While maintaining the characteristics of a TUNA rod, we aimed for agility and maneuverability that won't tire you out even with frequent casting. Of course, it also possesses versatility to cast and operate from small to large lures for selective predation.

During the fight, it is equipped with power to handle the flexibility of the tuna's runs while also being able to lift firmly against tunas that draw arcs and engage in battles just tens of meters below, and it has the rod-breaking strength to withstand the fight directly below.

In the summer of 2019, after finishing fights with many yellowfin tunas during overseas expeditions, we were satisfied with blank. Also, the guide and grip settings, which we had been concerned about, were finally satisfying during the next expedition to the Tokara Islands.

Since the start of testing in the summer of 2018, we have repeated tests against species such as hiramasa, GT, and sharks, and finally, we have achieved completion.

While the main material is low elasticity carbon, it is relatively light in finish.
