Designed specifically for upstream presentations in mountain streams, this sinking minnow belongs to the Hirauchi (flashing side-kick) family of lures. To achieve the performance required for upstream fishing, it features a distinctive high-backed body profile (Seppari Design) that increases the amount of water captured by the head, providing greater control and responsiveness against the current.

The pronounced back profile is far more than a styling element—it plays a key role in the lure's swimming characteristics and overall performance.

Powerful wobbling action during steady retrieves

When retrieved at a constant speed, the lure produces a strong wobble-and-roll action with excellent water displacement, creating an action so aggressive that it almost appears to be performing continuous Hirauchi flashes.

Its action ratio is approximately:

80% Wobbling
20% Rolling

This pronounced movement generates a highly visible presence that effectively attracts trout in moving water.

Violent flashing with rod work

When worked with the rod, the lure performs an aggressive Hirauchi flashing action, producing intense flashes that resemble the flickering of a fleeing baitfish.

Even subtle shaking inputs generate crisp, well-defined side flashes, while stronger twitches cause the lure to perform wide head swings similar to a table-turn action, allowing it to stay near the strike zone instead of surging forward.
