The all-new Fathom II Lever Drag reels take a class-leading reel and raise the bar even more. New models, sizing, features, and optimized billfish models round out the assortment to give a model for every application. Integrating the palm side plate and frame allows the Fathom II Lever Drag reels to be more compact in hand and increases strength. The Pull-to-Turn preset knobs allow the angler to truly set it, and forget it. At the Fathom's core is a stainless steel main and pinion gear and a forged and machined aluminum spool for maximum durability.

Stainless Steel Material Main Gear & Pinion Gear

Stainless steel is used for both the main gear and pinion gear for superior durability and smooth rotation.

Pull-type preset knob

The pull-type preset knob eliminates the risk of accidentally pressing the knob during a fight and causing the strike zone to shift, whereas the general lever drag reel adjusts the drag strength and strike zone by rotating the preset knob while pressing it.

DuraDrag System

DuraDrag provides a smooth sliding start even during intense fighting. The ideal drag curve follows the fish's fight, resulting in high performance.

5 sealed ball bearings

Five sealed ball bearings are used for comfortable winding.

Football-shaped handle knob

The football-shaped handle knob is easy to grip during a fight with a big fish.

1/3 and 2/3 line capacity ring

This allows you to know 1/3 or 2/3 of the remaining line capacity in situations where you are often concerned about how much line is left on the spool during a fight. It can also be used as a guide for the lower spool.

Lever drag

The lever drag can be set to the reeling position (strike zone) instantly from the free position. Also, when lifting the lever, the drag can be set to the max. state by pressing the stopper with a finger. The die-cast one-piece full-metal body is robust and highly durable.
