The second Amazon model in the Jetsetter series. 4 years have passed since the 2019 project, which has gone through various world situations. A lot has happened in just a few years, but I have traveled through a chaotic world, gone fishing, and now I want to try new, unknown fishing.
This is a model that respects and pays homage to the famous rod Morena (TULALAx Bombada, released in 2012), which representative Mizuguchi has been using since the prototype model, and is more ``soft''. Light and easy to swing in all directions, this rod allows anglers to continue fishing until dusk, even if they continue to make long and short casts all day long, and even if they jerk and twitch without ever stopping the lure.
The rod color is jet setter green and Amazon blue sky. The sun shining from directly above dyes the field of view yellow, and the blue morpho butterflies fly up and down the white sand of the Amazon like in a daydream. A beautiful blue morpho whose scales are highly poisonous, so those who know about it don't go near it, but its beauty is such. As a travel rod, the design expresses scenes you've seen and daydream-like events.
All rod work, from casting to retrieval, must be controllable. Also, it must be able to compete with each lunker size, which varies depending on the target fish. We aimed to create a model that could play a central role in fishing in tropical and temperate regions.
While it has the power to compete with the 10-15 kg class, we have pursued a lightweight design, lightness, and flexibility.
Be smarter. Yes, to compete with the monster fish of the Amazon, the fierce fish of Southeast Asia, and the temperate carnivorous fish of the world. A flexible blank that has the power to fight against peacocks over 10kg, snakeheads and barramundi in the 15kg class, yet has the flexibility to control stiffness. The short length of 5 feet 6 inches provides excellent controllability, allowing continuous twitching of pencil baits, speedy and powerful popping, and minnowing with a manual feel.
The true value of a jet setter is that it has a wide variety of target fish and is flexible in operation, and is also excellent for steady retrieval using spinner baits and crankbaits, making it easy to target snakeheads and black bass.
Also, it is strong even though it is a pack rod. The odd number of 3-piece joints and the point design of the joints give it a strong backbone that can withstand even crazy big things and excellent load distribution.
