"Since the early days of Imakatsu, the high-appeal sound pencil 'Trairao' has continued to receive support both domestically and internationally. It has been particularly popular among overseas monster fish hunters, and it still enjoys widespread support today. However, nearly 20 years since its initial release, we began to feel that its appeal might be a bit too strong for the increasingly high-pressure bass fishing fields in Japan, which are not particularly vast. Therefore, while inheriting the original sound and water-gripping shape, we downsized the body to create a Taralon that is perfectly suited for modern Japanese bass fishing.

Despite its compact size of 90mm, it still delivers the signature cracker ball sound of the Trairao, appealing over a wide area. It maintains its exceptional casting distance and is easy to work with a horizontal floating action, making it a pencil bait packed with elements that catch fish in modern bass fishing. Given that the original size is highly effective on monster fish worldwide, the Taralon 90 Junior also attracts not only bass but also saltwater targets like seabass and black bream, captivating a variety of fish-eaters around the globe.

Compared to the original Trairao born in the Amazon (130mm, 1oz), the Trairao 90 Junior is approximately two sizes smaller. It can be comfortably cast with ML~M class bait tackle and is very easy to perform dog-walking due to its horizontal float. With its unique high-pitched cracker ball sound, it can attract bass from a wide area even in fields with a sparse bass population."
