The defining metal part of the Metal Mouse is an evolved design inspired by the Jaggymouse, a 128 mm large pencil popper that once took the world by storm. By adapting the same powerful part from the large pencil popper to a smaller body, the Metal Mouse achieves intense dog-walking action and an abundant splash shower effect.

Metal Mouse - Recommended Tackle

For rods, an ML~M class is ideal, and reels with a high gear ratio of approximately 1:7.3–8 are easy to handle. The line is particularly important: while fluorocarbon lines of 10–13 lbs can be used, nylon lines of 10–14 lbs or PE lines of 1–1.5 class will maximize the Metal Mouse's performance. For PE lines, avoid products with extreme high or low specific gravity; instead, opt for standard PE lines with a specific gravity around 1.1 (similar to nylon), which are best suited for the Metal Mouse.
