Baby Fūjin SUPER SPIDER

The original insect-like surface finesse jig, "Fūjin Spider," has passed down its capabilities, and now the upgraded Baby Spider can lure even the most nervous and smart bass without arousing suspicion. The trailer now uses the same elastomer as the Fūjin Super Spider, giving it high buoyancy, allowing the addition of a triple hook hanger, which improves the hook-up rate even in recent surface games where short bites have become more common. The translucent body blurs its silhouette, making it difficult for sharp-eyed bass to avoid, and the unique durability of the elastomer ensures that the legs won’t tear off.

Even though it's smaller, the Baby Spider is equipped with a unique bungee reverse arm to minimize movement distance. By giving enough slack to the line and ensuring the lure stays in place, it can create natural ripples on the surface for an extended period, mimicking a fallen insect. This produces an incredible fish-attracting effect that’s hard to imagine from its small silhouette. Experience the even greater power of the downsized Baby Super Spider while maintaining its unmatched ability to mimic insects.

In the JB Top 50 series held at Yasaka Lake, Yamaguchi Prefecture, Katsutaka Imae caught a 1500g big fish on the first day by site fishing at the uppermost part of the main river sandbar. The lure he used was the Baby Super Spider.

Imae used a body rubber-tuned version of the Baby Super Spider at the big fish site. Due to its elastomer body, it has strong buoyancy and can be equipped with a nail sinker for long casting. It is also designed with the possibility of using the body alone as a lure for site fishing.

Due to the properties of the elastomer material, if it remains in contact with other lures for an extended period, damage to both bodies (such as deformation or melting) may occur. Also, be careful in high-temperature locations, as deformation or melting may occur.
