Sharp Darts & Wobbling Fall — A Stick Bait That Balances Reaction and Finesse
The Okrustick 3.2” is a control-focused soft bait made up of five distinct edges. With the slightest action, it produces a sharp darting motion and strong water push thanks to its flat body.
On the fall, it maintains a horizontal posture with a rolling action, effectively drawing bites.
The weight is carefully tuned to avoid being too heavy, allowing it to perform effectively even in shallow areas.
In dart setting mode, passing the line through a hole in the back allows the bait to resist floating up while expanding the dart range.
When fish are near the surface, a high-speed retrieve mimicking fleeing baitfish becomes highly effective.
Despite its simple appearance, it's compatible with a wide range of rigs—from reaction-style Carolina rigs to jighead wind presentations—making it a stick bait that excels in both triggering reaction bites and securing commitment strikes under tough conditions.
Action:
Produces crisp and snappy darts with light twitching.
Supports 3D reaction techniques.
Falls with a horizontal shimmy and roll, appealing directly to bass.
Works well with twitching, jerking, and straight retrieves.
Material:
Made of a supple, chewy material infused with crustacean formula and moderate salt content.
Sinks smoothly even in a no-sinker rig, while keeping a light enough weight to prolong the fall time in shallow areas.
Compatible Rig Options:
▸ No-Sinker Rig
The basic rig for Okrustick—perfect for sharp darting and shimmy falls.
Use a nail sinker for adjustments:
For horizontal fall → insert around center
For more casting distance → insert near the tail
▸ Reversed Rigging
Reversing front and rear enhances casting distance and offers a more agile action.
▸ Dart Setting
Designed to channel water along the back and flow off the belly, enhancing dart width and suppressing lift.
Insert hook from lower front hole (about 5mm in).
Exit hook tip from the lower rear hole.
Pull the hook eye out through the upper front hole and tie the line.
Embed the hook eye into the body. Insert brush guard from the side to secure the hook shank area.
▸ Down Shot Rig
Perform point-focused twitching to create dart + fall actions in one spot—ideal for pressured fish.
▸ Jighead Wind
The flat-sided body is ideal for jighead wind techniques. Mount with the flat side facing down.
