With a 0.72 mm thick wire shaft, this hook can handle hard fights with trophy horse mackerel, large-size ajing targets, and big mebaru.
Recommended when using PE line for fast retrieval and aggressive hooking.
The eye is made larger for easier threading, and the hook angle is tuned for instant hook-up performance.

Easy to inhale, hard to spit — smooth bend curve and wide-open gape
When feeding on small bait, fish inhale with a small mouth and will open their mouth wide to spit it out when sensing discomfort.
To address this:

The bend section is smoothed to aid inhalation

The gape is widened to reduce spitting
This makes strikes easier to detect.
The optimized open-gape shape also reduces power loss during hookset.
Made from 0.72 mm high-carbon steel, the hook offers enhanced penetration and is two sizes thicker than conventional hooks, making it reliable even for larger fish.

The upper front flat surface of the head catches water well, giving strong presence.
The front edge cuts water and disperses flow, ensuring stable swimming.

Clear contrast in fall speed (Sharp-contrast fall action)
During tension fall, the lower front surface catches water, creating an unusually slow and controlled descent.
During free fall, the lower edge slices through water, resulting in a faster drop.
