Product Introduction:
【BLANK】
The major characteristics of the NEW Foojin’RS are its highly elastic blank, designed to combine powerful rebound with high flexibility.
The blank is built around two advanced third-generation TORAYCA® carbon materials, M40X and T1100G, each selected for its unique performance characteristics. These materials are formed using the X-FORCE100 manufacturing process introduced on the Foojin’Z 6th Generation.
With its exceptional elasticity, the blank faithfully reflects the RS design philosophy and delivers stable, highly controllable casting performance, regardless of the angler’s skill level.
X-FORCE100
100.0% Carbon Content
A New Technology Designed to Reduce Torsion and Maximize Performance
X-FORCE100 is APIA’s proprietary technology introduced on the Foojin’Z 6th Generation.
Conventional blank construction uses multiple layers of prepreg, with carbon fibers oriented in different directions to control torsional deformation.
With X-FORCE100, carbon fibers crossed at 45°, an orientation offering high torsional strength, are formed into a single sheet of prepreg.
APIA also successfully eliminated the “Glass Scrim” traditionally used as a backing layer to reinforce the carbon-fiber prepreg.
The result is a seabass rod constructed from 100% pure carbon fiber.
Key Features
⦁45° cross-oriented carbon fibers are formed into a single sheet of prepreg for high torsional strength.
⦁Significantly reduces carbon torsion, one of the primary causes of power loss.
⦁The 100% pure-carbon construction improves vibration transmission, reducing tip shake while increasing sensitivity.
⦁Improved manufacturing uniformity helps eliminate variations between individual rods.
「M46X」
Third-Generation TORAYCA® 46T Ultra-High-Modulus Carbon Fiber
Announced in 2024, M46X is TORAYCA®’s third-generation ultra-high-modulus 46T carbon fiber.
The newly developed high-strength 46T material achieves compressive and flexural strength comparable to conventional 40T carbon.
Its characteristics contribute to increased blank speed during casting and faster recovery of tip movement after the cast.
The material produces an extremely rapid flex-and-recover action, occurring at a speed that can only be captured through super slow-motion filming.
The resin system uses #2574 (Nanoalloy).
※ M46X is used exclusively in the DESIRE S95MH and CRESTER C93M.
「M40X」
Extraordinary Sensitivity & Handling Performance with Virtually No Unwanted Vibration
40T high-modulus carbon fiber.
M40X is an advanced material developed with applications such as rockets and next-generation aircraft in mind.
It pursues both modulus and strength to the extreme. While maintaining the same modulus as M40J, M40X increases compressive strength by 30%.
Its characteristics contribute to improved snap-back performance and increased blank speed during casting.
The resin system uses #2574 (Nanoalloy).
「T1100G」
World-Class High-Strength Carbon for Extraordinary Strength & Power
33T intermediate-modulus carbon fiber.
T1100G is a carbon fiber developed for applications including rockets, Formula 1 racing, and next-generation aerospace technology.
In terms of tensile strength, it is currently among the highest-strength carbon fibers available.
In addition to its exceptional strength, T1100G contributes to faster blank acceleration during casting and a smooth, progressive bending action.
The resin system uses #2574 (Nanoalloy).
【JOINT】
NANO JOINT
Further-Evolved APIA Technology
NANO JOINT is APIA’s proprietary joint system developed using NANO ALLOY® technology to eliminate the excessive stiffness commonly found around the joints of two-piece rods.
All NEW Foojin’RS models use a put-in joint configuration.
In addition to improvements in strength, weight reduction, and overall balance, NANO JOINT delivers performance that surpasses conventional spigot-style joints even in terms of the rod’s bending curve.
The joint taper difference is finished to an extremely precise 0.002–0.005 mm, significantly reducing the possibility of the joint loosening during fishing.
※ NANO JOINT is finished using ultra-precision grinding. Use the joint as supplied and do not modify it.
※ If the joint becomes stuck, thermal expansion of the carbon may be the cause. Cooling the joint thoroughly with ice or a similar method can cause the carbon to contract, making the joint easier to separate.
【EXTERIOR】
SHIELD TECH Light
To protect the lightweight and delicate blank, NEW Foojin’RS uses a special protective tape called SHIELD TECH Light, designed to prevent minor scratches.
The blank also features an unsanded finish, achieving a balance between a durable exterior and extreme sensitivity.
【WARRANTY】
APIA Premium Warranty
For up to five years after the product has been discontinued, repairs are available an unlimited number of times, subject to the applicable deductible.
※ Please note that the APIA Premium Warranty becomes invalid if the warranty card is lost.
Storage Precautions
If the rod becomes wet, promptly wipe away all moisture with a dry towel.
Storing the rod while wet, or keeping it in a hot and humid environment, may cause blistering on the painted surface.
