The Denguri Gaeru Namazu SP already offers excellent potential as a catfish lure. This new downsized model retains its proven performance while delivering a more compact profile for targeting pressured catfish.
The compact body is particularly effective when targeting cautious or heavily pressured catfish.
Its swimming action follows the original model's roll-dominant action, while the use of an aluminum cup that is relatively large for the compact body allows the lure to be tuned for an extremely slow retrieve speed.
This makes it possible to work a pinpoint target slowly and deliberately, while still generating enough sound and water disturbance to attract catfish even when the lure travels only a short distance.
Like the original model, the rear prop produces a distinctive rattling sound. Even after the aluminum cup rises at the angler's feet, the rear prop continues to provide attraction.
From the moment the lure hits the water until it is lifted out during the retrieve, it continues to create opportunities for a strike, allowing anglers to trigger bites at virtually any stage of the retrieve.

⦁Two split rings are installed on the line eye to create a wider swimming action and enhance the lure's presence to catfish.

The rear-mounted prop creates a distinctive rattling sound. It continues to generate attraction almost until the lure is lifted from the water, making it particularly effective when fishing from high banks or elevated positions.
⦁The lure is equipped with a dedicated double hook designed specifically for catfish, with careful attention given to every detail. The hook is connected via a rolling swivel, helping reduce the risk of the lure body being damaged during a hard fight.
⦁The hook shank is secured with shrink tubing so that the hook remains attached to the lure body even during the violent fight of a hooked catfish. The hook is also barbless, making it more fish-friendly.
⦁The hook features a slightly flattened profile, designed to help the hook catch along the side of the catfish's mouth when the fish takes the lure and the angler sets the hook, improving hook-up reliability.
