A dedicated wire single assist hook designed specifically for targeting Spanish mackerel using the “Tachiuo Pattern.”

Fully optimized for the “Tachiuo Pattern,” this assist hook was developed for targeting sharp-toothed Spanish mackerel with long jigs.

The hook uses the lightweight and ultra-sharp “JIGEN HYPER (JH-30),” delivering excellent penetration performance and sensitivity.

The assist line features the powerful yet flexible hybrid wire “Keplart Metal GX (200lb),” further protected with a transparent shrink tube for enhanced durability and abrasion resistance. This special setup provides maximum protection against assist line breakage caused by the razor-sharp teeth of predatory fish.

The assist line length is intentionally set longer to match heavy long jigs effectively. It also maintains the ideal level of stiffness to minimize tangling around the jig during action.

“Keplart Metal GX” is a new-generation assist core material combining the flexibility of fiber with the reinforcing properties of metal. Its superior abrasion resistance makes it highly effective against sharp-toothed species. (Manufactured by YGK)
