Product Introduction：

RB99

The largest and heaviest model in the Rolling Bait series. Weighing 30g, it can be cast even with light tackle for bluefish. Its distinctive “rolling action,” unlike minnows or vibration plugs, appeals strongly to both shore and offshore targets.

RB88

The second model in the series. With increased size and weight over the original RB77, it also achieves greater casting distance. Ideal for targeting larger seabass as well as boat game species like yellowtail (Inada) and bonito.

RB77

The original model of the Rolling Bait series. Although its line eye position makes it look like a vibration plug, the retrieve resistance is lighter, and the action is purely “rolling.” Originally developed for harbor and river seabass, it continues to be highly acclaimed by anglers.

RB66

Downsized to handle tough fishing conditions. Suitable for smaller seabass (Fukko/Seigo) and also capable of targeting large black seabream or rockfish.

Recommended Tackle

For anglers new to harbor seabass fishing with the RB77, we recommend:

Rod: Seabass rod up to about 9ft

Line: PE #1

Leader: Nylon 20–30lb, about 1–2m

The RB66 pairs well with lighter tackle, while the RB88 and RB99 suit heavier setups.

How to Use

Rolling Bait is an easy-to-handle lure that works with just a straight retrieve. It can cover everything from shallow to bottom zones, and from slow to fast retrieves.

For keeping depth in shallow water, a slightly faster retrieve is recommended. Of course, conditions vary depending on spot and situation.
