Kowai Chew 2.4 inch – Downsized Model
The Kowai Chew 2.4 inch inherits the same responsive arms and water-grabbing ringed body from the 2.8 inch model, set to start moving as soon as it enters the water.
While the action and concept remain unchanged, its more compact body allows it to handle situations the 2.8 inch cannot—such as high-activity conditions or fishing in tight spots.

Concept：
The free-rig style, especially the semi-fixed sinker rig, has become an established method for chinning (black sea bream fishing).
The Kowai Chew series was developed exclusively for this style, combining all essential factors—size, action, material, and hooking performance—into one specialized worm.

Features：
Ringed Body Structure
The main body is covered with fine rings from head to tail, enabling it to continuously grab water from the moment it enters. Even when still, it produces delicate movements with the slightest current.

Arm Parts
Compact curly-shaped arms create high responsiveness, strong water displacement, and high-pitch action.
Positioned near the hook point, these arms take advantage of the sea bream’s tendency to strike at strong water-pushing parts, improving hook-up rates.

Material
The body material is tuned to be as firm as possible without hindering action. Once triggered, sea bream bite repeatedly, and this firmness keeps the hook in place during short bites, enticing them until a solid deep bite occurs.

Hook Setting
Reference hook size: Offset #3–#2
Recommended: Kowai Hook #2 or other out-point offset hooks in #2 size.
With this setup, the hook point embeds neatly into the tapered section of the tail, balancing concealment and hook-up performance.

Size Comparison
Although the Kowai Chew 2.8 and 2.4 differ by only 0.4 inches in length, their body ring diameters and core thickness are designed with a much greater gap, giving the 2.4 inch a noticeably slimmer profile.
At the same time, the head section that holds the hook is kept identical in volume for both sizes, minimizing differences in hook-holding strength.
