Based on the original Messiah known for its superb current-cutting ability, the Messiah Short is a more compact, user-friendly jig ideal for nearshore and light offshore fishing.

On the jerk, it produces erratic and irregular movements to provoke reactions from predatory fish. On the fall, it descends in a spiral motion, creating irresistible feeding opportunities.

Despite being a short jig, its water-cutting performance is top-tier, allowing it to be used effectively on both the rise and fall—making it especially powerful for targeting pelagic species like amberjack and yellowtail.
