The TECOMAX4600 is a narrow-body model developed based on the TECOMAX6600.
It inherits the robust body rigidity and smooth yet powerful drag performance of the TECOMAX6600. Additionally, the TECOMAX4600 offers the following features:
1. Triple one-way clutch system
2. Anti-reverse mechanism (ratchet gear included)
3. Corrosion-resistant bearings for the main bearing
4. Titanium alloy drive gear shaft for both lightweight and strength
5. Easy spool replacement despite the twin drag system
6. User-friendly design for easy disassembly, allowing for quick maintenance such as grease application and resolving line entanglement
Except for its narrower spool diameter, the TECOMAX4600 shares the same fundamental structure as the TECOMAX6600.
For those who need more line capacity and drag power than the TECOMAX3600 but do not require the full capacity of the TECOMAX6600, and who seek improved line handling during retrieval, the TECOMAX4600 is the perfect choice.
Whether targeting large fish in shallow waters with thick lines, fishing for yellowfin tuna or longtail tuna in the upper range, or deep-sea bottom fishing with fine lines, the TECOMAX4600 is a versatile model suited for a wide range of fishing situations

Maximum Drag Definition
The maximum drag value is measured under the following condition:
With the drag lever able to move smoothly to the MAX position, the preset (adjustment) knob is tightened fully toward the MORE direction, and the spool contains little to no line. The drag value obtained in this near-empty spool condition is defined as the Maximum Drag.
The drag value obtained when the spool is filled with the specified amount of line is considered the Practical Maximum Drag for actual fishing use.
If the drag lever cannot be moved smoothly to the MAX position, the preset knob has been tightened excessively. In this case, turn the knob back toward the LESS direction and readjust.
Operating the reel with an overly tightened preset may cause damage to the reel.
A ratchet mechanism is installed behind the stainless steel gear.
The twin drag discs are equipped with cooling fins for heat dissipation.
