Highly effective during periods when baitfish are small!
A new option for the micro-bait pattern — the smallest model of the Wakey Boo series, the 60mm version, is now available!
The Wakey Boo lineup now includes its smallest size: 60mm.
This bite-sized model works perfectly for micro-bait situations. It inherits the same action from the original size, compelling even highly pressured, cautious seabass to strike — making it the next strategic move for micro-bait patterns.
Its ultra-buoyant fat body generates overwhelming water displacement, creating a unique and alluring action even at extremely slow retrieve speeds — unmatched within its class. From ultra-slow retrieves, it produces a seductive shallow-subsurface rolling action. As the retrieve speed increases, wobbling is added, and at high-speed retrieve it transforms into an intense wide-wobbling motion.
Thanks to the precisely calculated movable-weight range, the weight emits a low-frequency “knocking” sound, functioning like a subtle low-pitch rattle. This alerts distant predators and appeals to fish across various depths — from super-shallow to deep water.
Its basic use is a steady, medium-speed retrieve targeting the surface to just below the surface.
With quick reel-speed changes, it performs an unpredictable, side-sliding “warp” action that looks as if it teleports sideways. This warp action can force even inactive seabass to strike when they normally refuse any lure.
Note: Due to its small size, it may not swim properly in rough seas or fast-flowing rivers compared to larger models.
