JetSetter 60S – The Traveling Musician’s Fishing Rod

The JetSetter 60S is a travel-friendly, light versatile spinning rod, supervised by world-renowned violinist and avid angler Taro Hakase.

Based on the most popular and fun model in the JetSetter series, the JetSetter 60C, this spinning version inherits its playful action, making it perfect for a wide range of targets—from trout and bass in freshwater to small bluefish in the sea—ensuring you’ll always find something to catch wherever you travel.

The rod blank features the hand-written musical score of Hakase’s iconic piece “Jonetsu Tairiku”, and his signature is printed on the split grip section.
Its dedicated rod case is crafted from high-quality vegan leather matching the rod’s color, with an interior lined in plush fabric inspired by musical instrument cases, adding both elegance and collector’s value.

The guide system is the same Microwave Guide setup used on the JetSetter 64S and 80S.

Handling Instructions

Always check that each rod section is firmly connected; loose joints can cause breakage.

Although this is a durable travel/multi-piece rod, fighting excessively large or strong fish, lifting fish by the line, or bending the rod at extreme angles may cause damage.

In case of breakage, replacement sections (tip, second, third, fourth, etc.) are available for purchase. Send the broken section and a replacement will be shipped COD.

Applying rod ferrule wax to the joints can help prevent loosening and sticking.
