The Wriggler, a Neko Rig-specific soft lure personally created by Tetsuya Aoki.

Designed by the highly creative Tetsuya Aoki, this dedicated Neko Rig soft lure features a meticulously calculated design that optimizes water resistance during swaying and swimming. Simply by changing the hook's position, it allows for either a shorter swaying pattern or a moderately vibrating swimming pattern. Even with a hookless hook, it offers excellent snag resistance; slightly tightening the line significantly improves its ability to prevent snags.

Furthermore, the flat-surfaced body design, based on Tetsuya Aoki's theories, also improves hook hit rate.

Short-distance swaying operation with a straight-tailed worm

Achieves short-distance movement through body water resistance, precisely attracting bass.

Neko Rig As a representative of precision rigs, straight worms are commonly used. However, typical straight worms tend to quickly move away from the target spot during a wiggle. To continuously attract bass to a single point, Imakatsu developed the Wriggler, a straight worm designed for more focused, one-point wiggle.

The Wriggler is a straight worm with a flat head. Because its head can withstand water resistance, it doesn't move towards the angler during a wiggle, allowing for sustained attraction in the same spot. This lure is ideal for areas with light obstructions where a fixed wiggle is difficult, or when bass are stressed and only focus on bottom bait.

Adjust hook position to accommodate swimming action.

Wriggler Optimal swaying action can be achieved by placing the hook from the head to the segments. Swimming action can be achieved by inserting the hook from the segments and exiting from the tail. Simply reeling in the line will cause the entire lure to vibrate, creating a lifelike effect never before seen in bass.
