Big Jerkbait — SUPER SG PLUS

Originally introduced in 2009, the SG PLUS has been upgraded with a new elastomer soft tail, evolving into the SUPER SG PLUS.

Its action has also been completely refined into a Jerkbait-style presentation specializing in powerful side-to-side slide darts and sudden stops.

Two stabilizers positioned at the front and rear of the lure maintain excellent horizontal stability while allowing the lure to produce a unique three-dimensional darting action that can only be achieved with a lipless bait design.

This specially engineered jointed bait combines controlled, loaded side-to-side slides with sudden stops, creating complex and highly irregular movements that are extremely difficult for bass to predict.

Compared with conventional lip-equipped jerkbaits, its action is significantly more complex and erratic, making it harder for pressured fish to identify it as an artificial lure. This gives the SUPER SG PLUS exceptional bite-triggering power on heavily pressured major fisheries and against wary trophy-sized bass.

The recent big-bait boom has also conditioned many bass to become accustomed to large lures with slow, deliberate movements. Against this background, the 145 mm SUPER SG PLUS offers something completely different.

Its 145 mm profile is an unusually versatile size for a big jerkbait—large enough to make a strong visual impact, yet compact enough to deliver a fast and aggressive presentation. Combined with its panic action, this creates an extremely fresh stimulus for bass that have become accustomed to slow-moving big baits.

Its 30 g weight also allows it to be comfortably fished with M to MH-class rods. This is a major advantage for bank anglers and other situations where carrying multiple heavy-duty tackle setups is impractical.
