A world of "pleasure" spun with a multi-piece
A bait finesse rod specialized for mountain streams, in collaboration with Yamanami Shoten, has been released. It is designed primarily for twitching sinking minnows, with an easy-to-handle length of 4 feet 8 inches, and a tasteful piece with wood (bird's eye wood) on the reel seat and single hand grip. The thread is also finished in brown color. The storage size is also extremely compact at approximately 34.3cm.
Main target
Mountain stream fish such as char and yamame trout
Yamanami Shoten special collaboration
This 4-foot 8-inch blank is designed for use in mountain streams, especially in the headwaters, and is designed and set to make the entire operation from casting to lure action and hooking stress-free. We pursued the ideal balance for mountain stream minnowing, which is not too soft or too stiff overall. Even with a lightweight lure of around 3g, the weight is firmly placed on the tip and belly, so you can feel the flex, making it easy to cast, and even though it is a short length, it is not too stiff and difficult to throw. Side, backhand casts, and flip casts can be performed easily.
Blank & guide setting
The YS408-5C uses a carbon blank with stainless steel Sic guides. The small joint storage dimensions and small diameter guides can be stored compactly when high winding in the headwaters. The reel seat and grip are made of special wood (birds eye maple) (※), and all the reel hoods are made of original metal parts (gunmetal). All joints are spigot ferrules. (※We cannot accept returns or exchanges as each piece is made of natural wood with different patterns and colors.)
