The MBL is a barbless version of the highly popular and proven Kilo Hook offset hook series. Rather than focusing solely on “how to catch fish,” its concept centers around “how fishing can continue into the future.” Designed with sustainable fishing practices in mind, this barbless hook supports efficient resource use through catch-and-release fishing.

Barbless hooks offer excellent penetration and allow for easier fish release. They reduce damage not only to fish, but also minimize risks to anglers and impact on the surrounding environment, making them a more responsible and fish-friendly option.

Test samples were distributed during events throughout 2024, where anglers provided feedback through voting. Based on user evaluations, the product adopted the highly rated “MAGIC BARBLESS” design — a barbless system recognized for superior hook retention compared to conventional barbless hooks.

Its specially pressed stepped structure combines the smooth penetration characteristics unique to barbless hooks with improved resistance against accidental hook loss caused by sudden slack line tension.
