This heat shrink tube is ideal for protecting and reinforcing the knot section of assist hooks. It shrinks when heated with a hair dryer or similar heat source, making it easy to work with and perfect for creating your own custom assist hooks.

Shrinking starts at temperatures above 90°C, and the stated shrinkage ratio is achieved around 115°C.

Although it can shrink with direct flame (e.g., a lighter), doing so may damage the assist line and weaken the strength—please be cautious.
