Product Introduction:
BLANK|X-FORCE100
100.0% Carbon Content
APIA introduces its latest proprietary technology, X-FORCE100, starting with the Foojin’Z 6th Generation.
This is the industry’s first manufacturing method for carbon prepreg construction.
Conventional designs increase strength by laminating multiple prepregs in various directions.
X-FORCE100 instead forms 45° cross-oriented carbon fibers—known for exceptional torsional rigidity—into a single prepreg sheet.
In addition, APIA successfully eliminated the use of glass scrim, traditionally applied as a reinforcing layer.
The result is a 100% pure carbon seabass rod.
Key Features of X-FORCE100
45° cross carbon fibers formed in a single prepreg sheet for superior torsional strength
100% pure carbon construction enhances vibration transmission, suppresses tip wobble, and significantly improves sensitivity
Highly uniform manufacturing process eliminates individual product variation
TORAYCA® 3rd Generation Carbon System
Foojin’Z 6th Generation is constructed entirely from TORAYCA® 3rd generation carbon,
incorporating the advanced M46X material to achieve outstanding
casting distance, accuracy, and power.
In addition to M40X (high modulus) and T1100G (high-strength intermediate modulus) used since the 5th generation,
the newly introduced 46t ultra-high modulus M46X completes the lineup.
This enables the 6th Generation to be built exclusively with TORAYCA® 3rd generation carbon,
ushering seabass anglers into an entirely new realm of performance.
M46X
TORAYCA® 3rd Generation Ultra-High Modulus 46t Carbon (Announced 2024)
Newly developed 46t carbon fiber achieves compression and bending strength comparable to conventional 40t materials,
while significantly improving response speed.
It enhances rod recovery during casting and rapidly settles tip vibration.
The speed of its load-and-recovery action is so fast it can only be captured with super slow-motion cameras.
Resin: #2574 Nanoalloy®

NANO JOINT
Further Evolution of APIA’s Multi-Piece Technology
Traditional multi-piece rods suffer from increased weight, top-heavy balance, joint stiffness, reduced strength, and frequent loosening.
APIA’s proprietary NANO JOINT, utilizing NANOALLOY® technology, resolves these issues completely.
The modern put-in type NANO JOINT surpasses conventional spigot joints in strength, weight reduction, balance, and bending curve.
With taper tolerances controlled to 0.002–0.2mm through ultra-precision grinding, joint loosening during use is dramatically reduced—especially effective in multi-piece rods.
SHIELD TECH Light
A lightweight protective tape designed to prevent minor scratches on delicate blanks.
Combined with an unsanded finish, it achieves both exterior durability and maximum sensitivity.
GUIDE SYSTEM
FUJI Titanium Frame TORZITE Rings
All Foojin’Z 6th Generation models are equipped with FUJI titanium frame TORZITE guides, offering ultra-light weight and exceptional smoothness.
The tip guide uses a FUJI titanium frame SiC-S ring to prevent PE line noise and line twist.
SUPER SEVEN S77MH
Versatility Beyond the Limits of Short Rods
An evolution of the ultra-short rod concept embodied by Kunihiko Hamamoto’s
“ultimate finesse of wrist control,” first realized in the Natural Seven.
While preserving its original character, Super Seven enhances usability through the latest materials.
