The classic Military Shoulder Bag from Adventure Equipment, produced by photographer and angler Mr. Okamoto.
The first thing that stands out is its refreshing colorway, inspired by a blue cream soda.
The vivid blue comes from premium vegan leather, with an ice cream white flap on the front pocket, a cherry-red zipper pull, and a bright melon soda green interior for easy visibility—every detail carefully designed.
Beyond looks, this model introduces four major functional upgrades:
Improved shoulder strap attachment
The strap is now attached higher, reducing forward tilt when worn, making access easier and improving comfort while moving.
①Rod belt on the front
A rod-fixing belt has been added on the front top section. Useful for lure or leader changes when wading, or for freeing both hands during photography.
②Expanded right-side compartment
A staggered side pocket has been added, allowing simultaneous storage of pliers and a fish grip. Two D-rings provide more attachment options for leashes and tools.
③New pocket behind the magazine-style compartment
The gap between the magazine-style compartment and the main body is now utilized as a pocket, perfect for long pliers, scissors, or fish grips. Using the front D-ring prevents items from falling.
④The Military Shoulder pays homage to French infantry gear. Designer Mizuguchi drew inspiration while stopping in Paris on his way back from Brazil to Japan, recalling surplus military items he had seen. This bag was created as a functional solution for carrying gear in action.
It can be worn crossbody as a shoulder bag or converted into a waist bag.
Perfect not only for fishing but also for carrying cameras, sports gear, travel items, and daily essentials. With impressive storage capacity and high mobility, it’s a functional, versatile, action-ready bag.
