Special model for tackling large targets with big baits. High maneuverability without losing the weight of big baits and magnum spoons. Based on the C77SLH, the blank was redesigned from scratch to accommodate a wider range of fishing situations.
The C77SLH was originally developed for targeting rockfish from the rocky shore or from a boat. The grip length was set to be easy to handle, but still long enough to be cast from the shore. Since Bekko zoi are often fished in seaweed, we sought for a rod hard enough to hook the lure firmly even when it is bitten in the seaweed. The rod is designed to catch and fight the pull of fish trying to dive into reefs. This rod is not only stiff, but also can be bent to cast and fight, making it easy to use for big baits for sea bass and redfish. I have also caught pirarucu and tarpon with this rod.
