Jumping darting action.
The keels on both sides of the body naturally create the jumping darting action of baitfish just by setting the hook, making this a stick bait that easily switches on the bass's predatory instinct.
With no sinker, sweetfish and lotus escape to the surface of the water, and occasionally jump out of the water with force, and even with a split shot or Carolina rig at the bottom range, if you notice a bass and act with the image of suddenly appearing from the bottom and hiding your figure, the Sakamata Shad will perform well and lead to a bite with ease.
BODY FORM
The smooth, flowing body line has low water resistance, making it easy to make a darting action and widening the inertial slide width. It can also handle high-speed darting action, so you can deceive bass even in open water and induce a reaction bite.
Heavyweight material
The salt content is 5% for 8inch, 7inch, 4inch, 10% for 6inch, 5inch, 2inch = NON SALT material, which has high tensile strength and good hook retention, reducing worm tearing and breakage.
The body is marked with a hook set assist that allows you to set the hook straight without distortion.
A heavy weight model with the salt content increased to the maximum. It eliminates variation in weight tuning and makes it easy to perform Sakamata Shad action from the middle to bottom.
8inch = 65% (41.0g), 7inch = 70% (28.0g), 6inch = 75% (17.0g), 5inch = 75% (11.3g). The upper part of both has 0% salt content, and the center of gravity is low, so the balance is not broken and the stable action induces bites.
*Due to the high salt content, it is more cloudy than normal material.
*The 7inch also contains high specific gravity material glass sand.
KEEL
The keel, which is essential for the Sakamata Shad's unique jumping darting action, deflects the water flow downwards when it receives water, causing it to jump upwards. The keel also acts as a rudder to keep the darting action steady.
TAIL
The forked tail sways to follow the darting action, moving realistically like a baitfish's tail fin.
